대구경북행정통합이 이루어 진다면 특별자치도냐 특별자치시냐가 나뉘는데
만약 특별자치도라면 미래 도이름이 어떻게 될지 모르지만
일단 "대구"경북특별자치도로 칭하겠다
말그대로 이름이 "대구"경북특별자치도로 통합된다면
기존 경북의 시,군의 지위가 확 떨어진다
"대구"경북특별자치도라는 이름은 말그대로 대구의 이미지가 강하다
만약 이 이름으로 통합한다면 기존 경북의 시,군은 대구의 위성도시 느낌으로 밖에 느껴지지 않는다
일반 도시의 지위를 가진다 한들, 대구라는 이름이 특별자치도에 있는이상 경북 시,군의 이미지는 대구의 소속일 뿐이다
만약 특별자치시로 통합시 이 큰 경북을 시로 통합한다는건
이해가 되지 않는다
경북의 면적은 이북을 제외한 도 중 가장크다
경북은 대전광역시,충북,충남,세종시를 합친 면적보다 크니 말 다했다
그런데 이 큰 면적을 시로 통합한다?
이미 10개의 시와 13개의 군을 가진 아주 큰 경북을 작은 대구가
통제한다는게 말이 된다고 하는지 의문이다
만약 대구가 통제하지 않는다 해도 이미 대구는 광역시라는 직위를 가지고 있다
근데 경북까지 가지면 말 다했다
위(대구경북특별자치도)와 같이 경북의 시,군의 지위는 어떻게 할것인가?
시,군은 대구경북특별자치시의 읍,면으로 줄어드는것인가?
아니면 전부다 군으로 강등하는것인가?
기존 시,군의 시민들의 지위 혜택을 읍,면,동으로 줄여버릴것인가?
300만 경북도민의 지위를 줄이질 않길 바란다
그리고 특별자치시 소속의 작은 시,군으로 만든다 해도 의미없다
대구경북특별자치도와 같이 대구소속 취급 받을것이다
특산물에 대해서 말해보자
경북 각 지역에는 특산물 또는 상징이 있다
포항시는 과메기 경주시는 문화유산 등
경북에는 각 지역의 상징적인것이 있다
대구도 마찬가지지만
특별자치도나 특별자치시로 통합시 이 상징들은 사실상 대구것이 된다
대구라는 이름이 통합에 있는이상 경북 각 지역은 사실상 대구의 소속이 될것이고, 그 말은 경북 각 지역의 특산물,상징적인것들 역시 대구소유나 마찬가지다
경북 각 지역의 소중한 상징이 통합으로 인해 대구의 것이 된다는것은 있을수 없는일이다
결국 이익이 가는것은 대구와 경북도지사의 위상을 올리는것 말고는 없을것 같다
뭐가 됬든 이런 통합보다 경북과 대구가 함께 서로 협력하는 선에서만 끝나길
